SESSIONS & FEES

Please arrange payment prior to each session, and send payment details to AndrewOlsenMail@gmail.com. Payments can be made by cash or bank transfer to: Andrew Olsen / Westpac Bullcreek / BSB 736302 / Account 597801. Or you can just use my phone number 0413 696 568 in your banking app. Click on Pay Anyone, then Add New Payee, then PayID or Mobile Number. The app will show you my name instantly.

For non-Australian clients or other unique situations, please contact me directly.

Costs are on a sliding scale:

  • If you are on Centrelink income, have a Health Care Card, or are a Full-Time Student not living with your parents, the fee is $40.
  • If you earn more that $40,000 per year, please work out your fee according to ‘The Roof Rule‘ as follows: add up the annual income of everyone under your house roof, then remove the last three zeros.  For example, If you earn $74,000 a year before tax, and nobody else at home earns, your fee is $74.  If you have a dual income, and the total together is $125,000 per annum, your fee is $125.

If you are self-employed or have a complex tax situation with businesses, trusts, etc., please estimate the conventional household income of those at your standard of living/ house/ suburb/ vehicles/ holidays/ etc., and use that figure.

Medicare or Health Insurance rebates are not available.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Psychology (Double Major), University of Melbourne
  • Master of Arts Biblical Counseling, Colorado Christian University
  • Accredited Marriage and Family Counsellor, Federal Attorney General’s Office (1992)
  • 1988-2018 counseling as a registered psychologist
  • Taught various university courses (including post-grad) and professional development events at various universities and colleges
  • Teach, train and supervise counsellors, chaplains, and pastors
