You helped me in a way that no other psychologist has (I’ve seen about 5).
You speak the truth and you aren’t afraid of offending people. You get to the heart and push buttons to bring up the sin so it can be looked at and then the heart can heal.
It’s a conversation not some weird psychotherapy thing.

[Andrew] will go straight to the heart of things to cut out the problem at its core. Not interested in minor adjustment at the edges while the beast in the room feeds itself.

[Andrew] aims to SOLVE the problem, rather than bandaid, by reaching down to the deeper underlying issues rather than dealing with the surface issues which are often just distractions.
So the counselling is both convicting and empowering. Gracious and healing.
You don’t beat around the bush, you get people to talk, you help them see how bad their suffering was or is, you care, and never diminish or overlook.
It is better than other counselling because it leads me back to God … not to a man-made therapy or drug… but straight to the lament and beauty of God’s word in a way that others have not been able to.
